Welcome
I have been a doctor since 1972, and practicing complementary medicine for more than thirty years. During much of that time I have been exploring mind-body techniques like meditation and yoga as well as range of psychotherapy approaches. Holistic medicine means integrating the best of all possible healthcare for mind, body and spirit.

People seek me out because I can call on conventional medical knowledge, as well as a wide range complementary therapy skills. Sometimes they consult me because they definitely want homeopathy or osteopathy - fields in which I have trained fully - but often it is because they are unsure what would be worth trying; so together, we develop a treatment and wellbeing plan.

Most people are referred by their GP and, wherever possible (and with consent) I keep the referring doctor informed about a client's treatment and progress. I work with a clinical team that includes practitioners whose particular skills complement my own: traditional chinese medicine, nutritional medicine, psychotherapy, massage, Rolfing, psychotherapy and naturopathy.
