The Clinic
Our practice came together around our shared interest in holistic ways of treating complex illness: pain and stress- or environment-related health problems. As a group of practitioners we work towards positive health and healing, and we try wherever possible to do this by using natural, holistic approaches and by offering information and advice to help you build up your health and wellbeing. Our methods and medicines are designed to reinforce your body's own healing resources, and we strive to treat everyone who consults here as a whole person, not just as a set of symptoms.

Holistic integrated healthcare can draw on a spectrum of treaments. A core principle is that health is not just an absence of illness, but the positive unfolding of wellbeing. A lack of wellbeing can affect all aspects of a person - body, mind, emotions and spirit. Accident, injury or stress (physical or emotional) may have throw this balance out and led to uncomfortable symptoms or disease. Yet even someone with an ongoing disease can nonetheless improve their sense of wellbeing and levels of available energy. Sometimes it can be important to look at a health problem as a message that something needs to change in one's life.

Integrating a spectrum of approaches

Holistic treatments focus not on the symptom or disease but the individual, his/her unique way of life and responses to it. Given the right conditions the body can often harmonise and heal itself, which is why our approaches aim to stimulate, support and strengthen this process.

Our intention is to give back control to our clients, by offering not just treatment but also the information and skills needed to maintain their health in the future. Most people have known creative ways of dealing with the stresses of their life, but may need to rediscovering the energy, and hone this forgotten potential, in order once again to deal positively with change and pressure.
